Hongkong trip

Well, I have been missing for like ages. Blame it on the school teachers who pile up many assignments on us, making me so stressed and fed up, plus baby and i do not have time for each other.

Here are some pictures from last semester TB11 class pictures, me and my shopping partner kaiyan and my new hairstyle...

Hong Kong Trip

We had e-learning tutorials, marketing roadshows, retail management roadshows and IB game at the same time. OMG, i knew i couldnt take it, so i took a wise choice to went hongkong for that educational trip. Before the trip, we have briefing by 2 tutors, Justin n Ms Khoo, whom we travelled to Hongkong with, as Mr Yik got to run the roadshow. It is also due to the fact that although this trip was meant for the marketing and service students, but there is only 5 marketing students who went, and 3 service students. Therefore they open the vacancies to the tourism students as well.

We travelled via Cathay Pacific. Their seats are comfortable and the service is great. But the language of the air stewardess is very weird, especially their English. I always thought Robert Yow's speaking are killing me, but I went to Hongkong and i realise they speak just like Robert Yow. Haha.... I am a lucky girl, i got to have seats beside the window for both trips, and the scenery is very nice. Singapore looks like bright diamond from the sky at night, with the lights brightly lit up.

We stayed in YMCA hotel at kowloon. Hongkong is a rather clean city, but the buildings are not that pretty externally, but the internal design is very nice. My room mate and i requested for extra pillows, and their beds are very comfy. The location of the hotel is very convient, to ladies market and temple street. Great for shopping for the girls.

We took tons of pictures, I shall upload them soon, once i got them from the girls.

We asked our tour guide, Michelle, about which places are suitable for us to go for shoppings and stuffs, and we learnt a lot from her. She volunteered to buy wife cake for us, but the pricing is too high and it isnt the brand baby asked me to buy, so i did not order from her. I found that brand at the road, and its call heng xiang. Its damn nice ok... hahaz.... Its onli 21 HKD compared to the 45HKD the tour guide is buying for us. Although different brands, but many pple had asked me to buy heng xiang's wife cake.

During the day time, we went to places like citygate outlet mall, where i bought the quiksilver shirt for him, Hongkong consumer council, Bossini and Shangri-la kowloon, Ocean Park. The study time is enjoyable, as we came to understand many things that we might not be able to learn from the internet.

Now i understand what the IB lecturer said about information on the internet are very brief and might not be true. Its hard to get those information, and there is a price to pay. I did pay a price for it, apart for the monetary issues, also my nights to complete my homework before setting off.

I bought many clothes for myself. Actually not a lot, but those are definately cheaper then in Singapore. For the third night there, we had a farewell dinner, and we are served at the worst restaurant i ever been to. Apart from that, Hongkong service standard is very high. They should be the role model for Singaporeans. The weather there is cooling, but all of us missed the sunny island back in our home.

And so, I am back to Singapore after the 4 days trip..... Photos of the trip will be uploaded soon...
